How to become an IAS 


The basic eligibility for becoming an IAS is that you should have a bachelor degree from any recognized university and your age is between 21 to 32 years for general category and some relaxation is provided for people of reserve categories. You can register for the examination on the UPSC Civil Services exam website. After registration this examination happens in three phases. The first phases preliminary, second is mains and then interview. So you need to pass preliminary exam for getting eligible for the mains exam. Those who pass it. Can give the mains exam in which few students are selected on the basis of cut off. After that the candidates who have cleared it can appear for interview and approximately 150 to 200.
